The exhibition presented UMBRA I, a photography collection composed of three main series: NYX I, NYX II, and FRAGMENTS, including a selection of dark, mystic scenes from OBTENEBRO. Through black and white imagery, fragmented forms, and atmospheric compositions, the collection explores the quiet tension between visibility and disappearance, and the emotional space between what is revealed and what remains hidden.

The works were printed directly on 2 mm alu-dibond using UV-resistant inks, a technique that gives the black and white images a specific material presence. The white areas remain uncovered by ink, allowing the aluminium surface to reflect light from the environment and add a subtle glow to the matte image.

UMBRA I was presented at Gallery SABAI, Sofia, from 13 March to 27 August 2020. Originally planned to run until 13 March, the exhibition was extended due to the pandemic.
